Tina Turns Heads!!

Tina Turner the oldest vogue cover girl by far

The queen of rock 'n' roll, Tina Turner, proved she still got it, becoming the oldest person to cover Vogue Magazine.

Born
Anna Mae Bullock but better known by her stage name Tina Turner, is an American singer, dancer, and actress, whose career has spanned more than half a century, earning her widespread recognition and numerous awards. The legendary diva appears on her first Vogue cover for the April 2013 issue of German Vogue. Shot by photography duo Claudia Knoepfel & Stefan Indlekofer and styled by Nicola Knels, the gorgeous, Turner is in a modern silk blue gown by Armani, red pout and her signature honey blonde-hair; the cover says it all: "Simply The Best!"
The songstress snatched the title for the eldest person to cover the fashion magazine from Meryl Streep who covered American Vogue last year at the age of 62.

It is said that Tina Turner recently renounced her U.S. citizenship to become Swiss after residing in Kuesnacht, Zurich since the mid-90s. The diva recently told the local Swiss newspaper Blick that she’s very happy in Switzerland and that she feels at home there and cannot imagine a better place to live. Tina is currently in the studio recording a new studio album, Beyond 2.
